Katrina (she/her) is an enthusiastic development professional with a background in grant writing and education. She spent 13 years as a high school English teacher before transitioning to grant writing full-time; she excels at identifying and cultivating partnerships that align with a partner’s mission and vision. Her work is characterized by her passion for, and commitment to, the communities she serves.
Katrina joins our Comprehensive Services team at FundEd Strategies after working as a consultant for nonprofit organizations and school districts across the U.S. Most recently, she was a grant writer at Oak Hill (CT) and channeled her expertise to secure funding for initiatives that supported individuals with disabilities.
Katrina holds a B.A. in Literature and Language from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a M.S. in Social Foundations of Education from Georgia State University. She resides outside Atlanta with her two sons and their dog. In her free time, Katrina enjoys working in her garden and searching for culinary delights.
