Dr. Kathryn Mullins

Dr. Kathryn Mullins is a nonprofit and fundraising strategist with more than 17 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their fundraising, strategy, and organizational sustainability. She holds an Ed.D. in Urban Leadership from the University of Colorado Denver and is the founder and former executive director of a public charter school, giving her firsthand experience building and leading a mission-driven organization from the ground up.

Throughout her career, Kathryn has secured significant public, philanthropic, and community-based support through grant development, funder cultivation, public funding strategy, board engagement, and institutional partnerships. Her experience also includes leading major capital and financing efforts and building the systems, partnerships, and strategies needed to support long-term organizational growth.

Today, Kathryn works with nonprofit executives, school leaders, and boards on fundraising strategy, grant positioning, governance, strategic planning, and sustainable growth. She brings a practical, collaborative perspective shaped by firsthand experience as both an organizational leader and advisor.
