John Campbell

Founder & CEO

John (he/him) founded FundEd Strategies in 2018, to help schools and education nonprofits to start, scale, and sustain their fundraising programs. In his role, John catalyzes growth and innovation in the education sector, navigating the intricate landscape of fundraising strategy specific to public charter schools and education reform nonprofits. 

John brings passion, energy, and innovative thinking from over 15 years of fundraising and nonprofit management experience. Prior to founding FundEd Strategies, John served as the Director of Advancement for Eagle Academy PCS in Washington, D.C. he secured over $5 million in strategic resources, annually. Today, John helps education nonprofits and public charter schools across the country raise millions to support their missions. To date, John and his team at FundEd Strategies have raised over $50,000,000 to support public education.

John earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College and an MBA from American University. As a volunteer, John serves as a trustee for Capital City Public Charter School, development chair and former board chair of Fihankra Akoma Ntoaso (FAN), and is co-chair of the Association of Fundraising Professionals DC Consultants Affinity Group. John splits his time between New York City, Washington, D.C. and the Pocono Mountains of PA, and enjoys wine and traveling with his husband.
