Erin Johnson

Grants Coordinator

Erin is a highly skilled project manager who has helped a diverse set of nonprofit organizations secure funding for various projects. In her role with FundEd, she will coordinate grant activities and reporting for portfolio partners, while supporting team members internally in a variety of other capacities. 

Erin’s career in Education started at a charter school where she taught high school math. When she realized the additional impact a set of computers could make in her classroom, she spearheaded a successful fundraiser to solicit grants and donations, ultimately raising more than three times her initial campaign goal. This success ignited a desire in her to help others find resources to maximize their educational impact as well. She has been helping organizations with fundraising and development for more than 15 years.

Erin is an alumna of Southern University A&M College, The University of Memphis, and The University of Missouri. She is a former professional NBA dancer who now enjoys traveling, swimming, visiting loved ones, and tutoring students in math. She is from Memphis, TN and currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
