Ashley Aleman (she/her) leads the prospect research portfolio at FundEd Strategies, where she identifies, analyzes, and curates funder landscapes to support our clients.. With a strong focus on equity and innovation, Ashley’s work fuels strategic fundraising efforts by connecting mission-driven organizations with local and national funding opportunities that align with their goals.
Ashley brings nearly two decades of experience across education policy, nonprofit strategy, grant writing, and workforce development. She has successfully secured over $15 million in public and private funding for diverse initiatives—ranging from violence prevention and charter school expansion to inclusive economic development and virtual career readiness programs. Prior to joining FundEd Strategies, Ashley held leadership roles with the Louisiana Department of Education, Greater New Orleans Inc., and Teach For America, and has advised clients across the country through her consultancy business.
Ashley holds a Master of Education (EdM) in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and enjoys building community, supporting her friends on their entrepreneurial journeys, and raising her one-year-old daughter.
