Anne Volz

Anne (she/her) is a strategic grants professional with more than 20 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations secure and steward foundation, corporate, and government funding. She comes from a family of educators, and that has given her a firsthand appreciation for the challenges educators face. In her work on proposal development, grant stewardship, and funding strategy, she brings deep expertise, a thoughtful approach, and a commitment to quality.

Throughout her career, Anne has raised and managed more than $62 million in support of education, arts education, research, mental health, and community-based programs. She's known for her ability to turn programmatic goals into fundable, compliant grant strategies. Anne joins FundEd Strategies after serving in senior roles at Erikson Institute and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Anne holds a B.A. in English Literature from Kalamazoo College. She lives in Chicago, where she loves the arts, the lakefront, and a little snow now and then.
