Aidan Clevinger
Grant Writer
Aidan (he/him) is an experienced grant writer who works closely with partners to identify opportunities based on their unique work. He believes that understanding a partner’s history and core values is crucial to developing a grants strategy that centers their mission, vision, and identity, which leads both to greater revenue and stronger relationships.
Aidan has been a private grant writing consultant for the last five years, during which he’s worked on everything from small foundations funding to major USAID applications. During that time, he secured $3 million in awarded grant funding for his partners. He has also worked in education as a tutor, academic advisor, writing coach, and admissions consultant at the secondary and postsecondary levels. Aidan’s passion for education stems not only from his own experience, but from seeing the struggles and joys of his parents, both teachers, as they navigated the challenging work of shaping young minds.
Aidan earned his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Arizona. He lives in Tucson with his wife. When not at work, he’s usually writing poetry, stories, or essays, traveling, hiking, visiting museums, or making music with friends.
